Over 100 years ago, on December 1st, 1920, the Oceanic Free Library opened its doors for the very first time. The library was a gift to the Borough from Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Meeker, in memory of their son, William Henry Meeker, a Harvard graduate, patriot, and member of the Lafayette Escadrilles who died in France while training for combat during World War I.
Please help us raise funds to support our wonderful library.
At this year's event, we will honor former Library Trustee and Board President, Carolyn Miller.
